What makes this one interesting is that you're told what your opponents will do in their turn, and have to find some way to counter it by manipulating the environment and the enemies themselves. Into The Breach - Turn Based giant mech fighting game where your objective is to hold the line, not necessarily kill everything. Except it won't explicitly ask that, that's just a random example that I've seen occur from my runs through the autogenerated ships. It's the sort of game that asks you to use a temporary swapping teleporter to switch places with a guard beyond a locked door, kill the guy next to them for the key, then walk through the now unlocked door when you teleport back and shoot the guy you switched with. Ships have alarms, guards, defences that you need to work out a way around even if you don't have the specific equipment to do so. Heat Signature - mentioned below, it's a top down tactical insertion game set in space, with gameplay that I tend to describe as frantic improvisation in the face of trouble. It's hard to explain succintly, but managing multiple games of chess, all of which can interact with one another, is a good problem to solve. It's like chess, except all of your units can time travel, causing multiple realities of chessboards where you and your opponents have to defend all of your kings simultaneously.
